Hi,
as there are license issues with the code of the FTP(S) collector[1], I raised the question if these collectors are actually used somewhere by someone? The bot is not mentioned at all in the Feeds.md.
Are you using it? If no, do you think it should be kept nevertheless?

Hi,
thanks for asking this on the list. We are not using these collectors.
To clarify: The licensing Issue does currently only concern the FTPS collector.
In my opinion the FTP and the FTPS collectors should be merged into one collector.
My suggestion is:
1) keep support for FTP, 2) drop support for FTPS, if possible. 3) Create a new task to enable FTPS in the existing FTP collector.
On which date do we want to make a decision about the future of FTPS in IntelMQ?

As soon as we know who is (not) using it?
But the current FTPS collector can't be shipped as part of 1.0. So if noone uses it, I'd like to remove it around the feature freeze.
