[Ach] justifing config. settings in the paper

Absolutely correct!

See also the TODO.txt file:

   "* document (cite) EVERYTHING! Why we chose certain values. References, references, references. Otherwise it does not count!
    Srsly!!"

That's something we need to fix before the first release.
