Dear IntelMQ users
With Redis' license model change[0], the fork 'Valkey'[1] has emerged as the drop-in replacement following the spirit of FOSS the closest.
It is expected that Linux distros will replace redis with valkey. FreeBSD already provides valkey[2], but hasn't dropped redis yet. openSUSE has already dropped redis[3] in favor of valkey in their rolling-release/development product. And Debian is considering the change too[4].
Before this change comes into effect in the distros' stable releases, one or two years will probably still pass, so this is an early heads-up :)
You may also consider using other redis-replacements[5], but none of them are yet tested thoroughly with IntelMQ
best regards Sebastian
