Please only edit the .tex file (not the _generated.tex files). The _generated.tex file can always be safely deleted, since the ./perlify.pl script generates them.

Hm... there might be some issues, since I only tested it on OSX and some built in commands have a different syntax (different parameters).

can you run it in debug mode please?
